Black Barn 'Havelock Hills' Sangiovese 2024, Hawkes Bay

Perfumed, fruity and varietal bouquet packed with scents of red and dark cherry, boysenberry and some cola ideas. There’s plenty of mineral ideas as well with a clay and dry stone scent. Complex, youthful and very intriguing. On the palate a dry, taut and high energy expression. Youthful and fresh with a backbone of acidity, plenty of ripe tannin action and core fruit flavours that mirror the bouquet. Delicious and new with best drinking from 2028 through 2035+.
